Prayer for Forgiveness, psalm 50 in the Primary School

To ask God forgiveness and put repentance. Να read by everyone daily.

Have mercy on me, O my God, according to your infinite mercy and according to the infinite multitude of your mercies, completely erase my illegality.

Wash me and wash me again of my iniquity, and cleanse me from the filth of my sin.

I ask for your mercy, because I also acknowledge and confess my illegality. And this sin of mine is always before me, in my heart and in my mind, to control me and to oppress me.

I ask forgiveness for you, because the sins I have committed are a violation of your Law. Before you I committed evil. I confess that I am worthy of punishment for my sins, in order to show how right you were in the convictions against me and to emerge victorious, when disrespectful and babies want to criticize you.

Have mercy on me, because I was arrested by sinful parents and my mother conceived me in the midst of sins.

God of truth, you have loved and always love truth and straightforwardness. You have revealed to me the unseen and the secrets of your wisdom, so that I may be protected from sin.

As with symbolic twigs of Hyssop (Tree) you will sprinkle me with your mercy, and so I will be cleansed from my sin. You will wash me for your sake and I will become so clean that I am whiter than snow.

Then you will make me feel rejoicing and joy, so that even my crushed and paralyzed bones may shake with joy.

Turn your face away from my sins, so that you may not see them, and blot out all my transgressions.

Create in me and build a new heart pure, my God, to enthrone and inaugurate in the depths of my soul a spirit of truth, a spirit of righteousness.

Do not take me away and do not reject me from your face full of goodness and do not take your Holy Spirit away from me.

Give me again the joy and rejoicing of my salvation, which comes from you, and support me, with a firm and rigid will to the good, to your Holy Law.

Thus, purified and enlightened, I will teach your sins, your Law, to many sinners. By my example and by my words I will contribute, so that many ungodly people will return to you in repentance, as I returned.

Release me, Lord, from the guilt of the innocent blood shed for my sake, God and Lord of my salvation. The tongue full of joy will proclaim your righteousness and goodness.

Yes, Lord, you will open my lips and my mouth with parsimony and courage and it will return praise and praise to you.

I will return to you with fervent praise, Lord, because if you wanted a sacrifice for the remission of my sins, I would offer it to you. But you are not so pleased with the holocausts of the sacrifices.

The pleasing sacrifice for You God is a soul crushed by the pain and consciousness of sin. And the heart of man, which has been broken by repentance and has been humbled, oh the all-good and merciful God, you will never exhaust it.

Blessed therefore, O Lord, be good and benevolent in Jerusalem. Show your kindness, so that the walls of Jerusalem may be rebuilt.

Then you will be pleased to accept every sacrifice, which will be offered to you according to what you have commanded in your Law, a sacrifice mentioned to you, a sacrifice of holocausts. Then they will raise up calves on the altar of your holocaust for sacrifice in an expression of gratitude and praise to you.
