In this book characterized as, Anthology of Prayers, we tried to collect from the Intercessor or Octopus  of the liturgical hymnal book of the Church, a few hymns in order to project them as prayers.

We chose the most experiential and poetic hymns that are mainly characterized by the strong fragrance of supplication and unwavering faith.

This little one pocket prayer book which comes straight from the bowels of our ecclesiastical tradition and hymnography, aspires to offer new opportunities in the mind, to all of us who live in the bustling city and do not hope for a secret theory, and to lead us to enjoy the joy of the Kingdom of God .

The subjects of supplications included in prayers range from liberation from passions and temptations, purification from sin and protection from divine punishment, to the provision of repentance and enlightenment and reinforcement in the struggle for virtue.

The language of the hymns is the common Byzantine one, very close to our modern dialect, which with the quotation of a small glossary, with the interpretations of the difficult words, become completely understandable.
