Ο Elder Gervasios Paraskevopoulos (1877-1964) was a Greek theologian and clergyman.
It is considered one of most important personalities of the recent history of Patras.
He served as Abbot of the Monastery of the Nursing Home of Patras, as well as Protosyggellos of the Archdiocese of Athens from 1939 to 1941.
He lived a very difficult childhood, while he became very popular due to the significant contribution to the refugees from Asia Minor who took refuge in Patras.
But also for the help he offered to the poor and marginalized citizens of the time.
Today it has been proposed to be classified in the hagiology of the Orthodox Church.
