The Sequence of the Akathistos Hymn

The Sequence of the Akathistos Hymn. Rendered in modern Greek. Another time in an overwhelming service in our parish, where mother gave us for the first time to read the beautiful tropes of the Greetings from the booklet. But also in front of the iconostasis during family prayer, when for the first time our parents let us read a stanza from the Akathistos hymn.

What joy and honor for the child, who felt that he had grown up! Both the poetic ancient text and the translation instill in the souls of young and old the honor in the person of the Most Holy Theotokos, but also the gratitude for her constant intercession for all of us to her Son and God.
