The fifth book in the series "Interpretations of Sacred Texts" is entitled "The Assumption of the Virgin".

The writer deals with with the interpretation of the biblical readings of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary that the Orthodox Church celebrates on the 15th of August.

Specifically, it quotes the biblical readings of Esperinos, Orthros and Divine Liturgy of the feast in the original text as well as in translation into modern Greek, followed by the interpretive analysis of each one.

The ultimate goal of the book is to make these texts more accessible to those who do not have the necessary training to understand them.
